Some other things about me:

• I participated in the Antarctic Search for Meteorites (ANSMET) program, where I spent 2 months in Antarctica collecting meteorites. You can read about the 2023-24 field season here.

• In 2014, I spent 10.5 months living at the South Pole as a telescope technician for the South Pole Telescope. You can read about my experience here. I made some aurora videos that you can see here and here. 

• My main hobby is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which I've been practicing since 2010. 

• I also enjoy board games, and sometimes go blues and swing dancing. 

• I like to travel, and have been to 19 countries and all 7 continents.
